Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how NudgiFi Technologies Limited uses cookies and similar technologies on https://nudgifi.com. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels and device fingerprinting. UK law (the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations) and EU law (the ePrivacy Directive, as applied in Italy by the Garante’s cookie guidelines) require your consent before any cookie that is not strictly necessary is set.
2. Our approach
We use strictly necessary cookies only. We do not use analytics, advertising, social-media or tracking cookies, and we do not fingerprint devices. Because we set no non-essential cookies, no consent is required and we do not show a cookie banner. If we ever add a non-essential cookie we will update this policy, show a consent banner with equally prominent Accept and Reject options, and set the cookie only after you accept.
3. Cookies and similar technologies we use
Cookies. Our own code sets no cookies. Our hosting provider may set these:
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Duration | Category |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| __cf_bm | Cloudflare | Distinguishes humans from bots to protect the site | Up to 30 minutes | Strictly necessary |
| cf_clearance | Cloudflare | Records that a security challenge was passed (set only if a challenge is shown) | Up to 1 year | Strictly necessary |
Cloudflare’s cookies are described at https://developers.cloudflare.com/fundamentals/reference/policies-compliances/cloudflare-cookies/. When we introduce account pages on the website (for example web account deletion), they will use a strictly necessary session cookie, which we will list here before it is used.
Browser storage. These are not cookies, but we list them because they are stored on your device. None is used for tracking or shared with anyone.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| nf-lang | Local storage | Remembers the language you chose (English or Italian) | Until you clear the site’s data |
| nf-country | Session storage | Your country as reported by Cloudflare, used to pick the default language | Until you close the tab |
| aria_state, aria_closed | Session storage | Whether the Echo guide panel is open or closed | Until you close the tab |
| asma_voice | Session storage | Whether you switched Echo’s voice on | Until you close the tab |
| asma_bubble_off, asma_autoshown | Session storage | Whether Echo’s greeting bubble was shown or dismissed | Until you close the tab |
4. Third-party content
Our fonts are self-hosted, so no font provider receives your IP address.
The product page shows demo videos hosted on Google Drive. They load only when you press play: until then your browser makes no connection to Google and no Google cookie can be set. When you play a video, Google receives your IP address and browser information and may read or set its own cookies under Google’s privacy policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy). No page embeds other third-party content such as maps or social widgets.
Echo, the AI guide on our website, and our contact and waitlist forms send what you type to the providers named in section 10 of the Privacy Policy. They do not set cookies.
5. The NudgiFi app
The mobile app does not use cookies. It uses secure local storage on your device for sign-in tokens and your private data, as described in the Privacy Policy.
6. Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the site from working. Instructions: Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge each provide a cookie-management page in their settings. Clearing the site’s data in your browser also removes the browser-storage items listed in section 3.
